The Great Sichuan Earthquake resulted more than 60,000 deaths in May, 2008, and fundraising events took place throughout the world to help those in need. A group of students in Sir Winston Churchill High School in Calgary organized the fundraising event at school, and I was asked to design a poster that would be posted around the school to inform fellow students about the event. We were able to raise $2,200 CAD during the 3-day span of the event.
This design was also used by Western Canada High School and Henry Wise Wood High School in Calgary during their own fundraising events.
